It was our honor to be a part of Through Their Eyes : Photographs by Syrian Children. Documenting and sharing the plight of the children of Syria is very close to our hearts at ilili. These kids were given cameras to capture their lives, and how they interact with the world they've been thrown into amidst the ever evolving Syrian crisis. We're grateful to Chateau Musar, and Hoerle-Guggenheim Gallery for helping to show the images, shot by these beautiful children, to the world. Special thanks to UNICEF for helping to preserve the culture these children are in danger of losing forever.
We're excited to be taking part in the 2015 Bid Against Hung. Since 1982, City Harvest has collected excess food from all corners of the New York City food industry — from mass suppliers, to individual grocery stores and eateries to distributed it to those who need it the most.
Funds go directly to keeping 19 trucks moving seven days a week to deliver nearly 50 million pounds of food a year.
